A new 600 m² office was designed for TopPharm within six months. It consists of a combination of meeting areas, quiet workspaces, collaboration areas and meeting rooms.

At the start of the project, we worked with TopPharm to define the requirements for the new office and develop a concept that fits the company culture. Workshops with management and discussions with employees helped to identify needs and goals.

The aim was to create a modern, open work environment that supports collaboration across departments and enables efficient work. The physical separation between departments was removed and replaced by an open layout with different workzones for focused work, teamwork and quiet retreat. Another key request from the client was to create an open kitchen, work-lunch and cafeteria area — a place to work together, eat and enjoy time together.

As personal desks were replaced by a shared-desk system, some employees were sceptical at first. Creating a space that works well both functionally and emotionally was therefore essential.

The office was designed to be modern and tidy without feeling excessive. High-quality design furniture was combined with existing and cost-effective elements.

Today, the office supports:

  • focused and ergonomic work
  • communication and phone calls
  • meetings and video conferences
  • informal exchange across departments
  • retreat and relaxation
  • training sessions and events
  • a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere

All project goals were achieved and expectations were exceeded.
